ICMI 2012 – THIRD INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON MOTIVATIONAL INTERVIEWING
ICMI 2012 will be held in Venice, Italy, on the 17th-20th June 2012. Pre-conference workshops will be held on 17th June, and the Conference will run on 18th-20th June. More information is available on the ICMI website, at www.icmi2012.com
ICMI brings together experts and learners alike to share research findings, challenging questions and new directions in the study of motivational interviewing. It’s a truly international gathering, where you will have the chance to share and learn about developments in MI research, theory and practice:

Regrettably, the Board in spite of the excellent scientific programme and enviable roster of world‐class speakers recruited to deliver the 2011 Programme in London, England, had to delay the holding of the conference until the Congress to be held in Montreal on November 12th ‐16th 2012.

El lema del evento es "Madrid Punto de Encuentro", ya que la ciudad reunirá a profesionales sanitarios de España y del extranjero, tanto de prisiones como de atención comunitaria, para poder adquirir e intercambiar conocimientos científicos relacionados con su trabajo.
Expertos presentarán sus trabajos más recientes en temas relacionados con las patologías de mayor relevancia en prisiones. Además, se presentarán protocolos de actuación en sanidad penitenciaria, se realizarán talleres y se podrán presentar trabajos científicos.
The Spanish Society of Prison Health is pleased to host its 1st International Congress in Madrid in november 2012.
This congress is intended to be a true meeting point for healthcare professionals worldwide with an interest in prison health, whether they come from the correctional healthcare field itself or the healthcare community at large: a knowledge hub of shorts where we can all share valuable experience and scientific insight related to our daily work.
Local and international experts will present their latest work on issues regarding the most common diseases in prison. In addition, a number of dedicated guidelines and workshops will provide an opportunity to learn and exchange views on key aspects of prison healthcare practice.
